Another one?!? Take the captains off those $$$$$$$$$$$$$ ships and give them a row boat.
Send liberal congress critters the bill to be paid from their salaries.
Its their BS policies undermining quality and proficiency among our service ranks.
Since the Navy ship was inbound, shouldn’t this have been posted by “Port”?
They even messed up with tugs, do they teach boat driving any more in the navy any more.
It is not that large a ship.
an understatement if there ever was one.
Was the captain either a homo, tranny or woman appointed during The Greatest Fraud Ever’s reign?
Fruity little excuses for Navy vessels. Just short of being worthless.
It does seem like in recent years there have been too many “mishaps” involving our warships. Congress doesn’t seem to be interested in looking into why. They are only interested in stopping Trump.
Whether or not the CO is held responsible this is not career enhancing.
**************
I don’t know about that. Career advancement seems to depend more on adherence to political correctness and promoting multicultural quotas than it does on skill and competence. There is probably more concern with regard to a collision with the PC police than there is with another vessel.
Yep. The pilot is only on there to give advice.
The Captain is also relieved of responsibility as a vessel passes over the sill and into a dry dock.
Maybe thw Navy is unsure who was in command.
forgot about the drydock exemption
But it did not have functioning brake lights.
Post-grad in strategery......
Math?, Geometry?, Navigation?, Physics?,.....
I’m guessing at least 50/50 odds the captain was a diversity cause celebre.
I had an Old English Sheepdog, and, parked car were always jumping out in front of her.
I think he was joking
Is that from a Rodney Dangerfield movie?
Been too long. Caddyshack? Can’t remember the one with the big boat going fast.
Freighter’s fault! Should have known that the tide was at the point that the Navy sex and drugs lantern is lit and barricaded their docking berth...
If one of the tug boat captains makes a mistake carry out an order then there could be extenuating circumstances. I’ve seen that happen and I’ve seen the CO go ballistic.
