Employees of the Boston-based online furniture company Wayfair are set to walk out Wednesday in protest of the companys decision to continue supplying furniture to migrant detention centers.
Organizing under the newly formed group, Wayfair Walkout, workers are demanding the e-commerce furniture giant cease all current and future business with contractors operating detention centers and establish an ethics code that empowers employees to act in accordance with Wayfairs core values.
The group sent a letter to the companys leadership last week, signed by 547 employees, calling for the end of operations that furnish detention centers.
We believe that the current actions of the United States and their contractors at the Southern border do not represent an ethical business partnership Wayfair should choose to be a part of, the letter said. In the message, employees said the company recently fulfilled an order of bedroom furniture worth $200,000 to be sent to a facility in Texas housing migrant children and operated by BCFS, a non-profit government contractor that manages detention camps.

As earlier, sounds like a no notice quit for walking off the job. The boss should make that clear and we’ll see just how dedicated the crew really is.
Wayfare The furniture for snowflakes...
Ok, so they have 547 Brand New Job Openings
Yet if they were providing a needed commodity for the Obama administration’s policies, I guess they’d be having a parade.
Yes, had put it with a footnote.
Wayfair should fire them tonight...
Wayfair approached me about a job. If you look around the Indeed forums, youre likely to find Boston HQ is a revolving door of 20-something dum-dums.
50,000,000 babies have been executed by “doctors” since 1973 and the Left compares Republicans to “NAZIs”.
F-Communists.
Just another “paid” Demorat tactic as I see it. These activist boogers infiltrate everywhere they can and do...and they’re going to be very active with election ahead....and they’re all in that insane resist mode.
lol
If I wear it out, we can rebuild it!
Fox busines is reporting that workers are now walking out. No information on what Wayfair management is doing in response. Hopefully, more details will be reported.
the fewer beds the better, the fewer detention facilities the better, the fewer benefits the better,. Stop them from coming in till the wall is built, by using the military and less than lethal force. this program of letting them in, distributing them and scheduling a hearing years from now is bogus.
Sounds like “Day without a Mexican”.
Might turn into “Former Wayfair employee without a job”.
The other day leftists were complaining that children were on blankets over concrete floors. Now some of them don’t want their company to sell furnishings to make the kids more comfortable. How stupid can they get?
Purdee stoopid.
