Young people are often assumed to be progressive, especially when it comes to gay rights. But a new study reveals that acceptance of the LGBTQ community by adults 18 to 34 is falling.
A new Harris Poll commissioned by GLAAD found that 36 percent of respondents in that demographic reported they'd be "very" or "somewhat" uncomfortable learning a family member was LGBTQ. That's up from 29 percent who said the same in 2018.
According to the 2019 Accelerating Acceptance Index, 39 percent would be unsettled by their child learning about LGBTQ history in school, compared to just 30 percent in 2018. And finding out their doctor was LGBTQ made a third (34 percent) uncomfortable—an uptick from 27 percent last year.
"The younger generation has traditionally been thought of as a beacon of progressive values," GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said in a statement. "We have taken that idea for granted."
Conducted online earlier this year, the poll quizzed 1,970 U.S. adults on their comfort level with seven theoretical situations: Learning a family member is LGBTQ, learning their doctor is LGBTQ, having LGBTQ members at their place of worship, seeing a LGBTQ co-worker's wedding picture, having their child placed in a class with a LGBTQ teacher, seeing a same-sex couple holding hands, and learning their child was learning LGBTQ history in school.
The number of young Americans who were comfortable across all seven situations dropped from 53 percent in 2018 to 45 percent this year, the second consecutive dip for the age bracket.

Maybe they are getting tired of all this crap that the world should be bowing down to them. They are perverts. It is that simple. Up until just a few years ago, this was considered perverted life styles. Today, it is looked upon as normal. HOWEVER, the Bible says this type of life style will be the normal in the last days of earth, that wickedness will be the way of man. And, this earth is full of this type of wickedness now. Sadly, a large percentage of millennial females (real ones) love to brag about their LGBTQ friends. It’s now coming back to bite them in the A$$! Now guys can claim they’re chicks and compete in women’s sporting events and use the ladies restroom!
To all the young women out there; you helped to foster the acceptance of this lifestyle. You helped set women’s rights back about 30-40 years! GREAT JOB!

We’ve noticed recently that when a TV series shows gay male sex, it is often either 2 black men or one black, one brown.
This may be really offensive to straight men in those groups.
The thing about propaganda is that once you know you’re being gaslighted, you’re protected.
With women, there is usually one ambiguously ethnic participant.
I find this approach more than a bit racist.
The controllers have forgotten that a human response to totalitarianism is rebellion. Teens are naturally rebellious. Perhaps in a culture that prolongs adolescence, the rebellion is also prolonged.
That’s because more Americans are waking up to the fact that transgenderism is dangerous on a personal and social level. And nobody really understands the definition of queer anymore.

Let me know when it gets to 100%. It is an unacceptable situation,but the individual involved should still be treated properly as any other person would be. They do need to realize why it makes many around them uncomfortable though.

True story - when I was in my twenties I went to amsterdam and a friend (female!) wanted to see the red light district
I went (of course!) and it was disgusting - overly made-up women with bored expressions sitting in displays.
It wasn’t sexy - just turned you off.
Fads come and go among the youth. We may be seeing the end of this fad..............................
Maybe it is time to bring back duck tail haircuts and hotrods.

Could it be trannies and boy girls in women’s sports, lockers, toilets and showers?

It's narcissism and a pathological need for attention. It's not enough to be who you are but have an echo chamber (the kids I am around (who don't know who I am outside of a carefully crafted image) cultivate being around others exactly like them and any dissent is immediately called down in crab bucket mentality and close to being doxxed) and a constant reinforcement that what they are doing is right. But the train left the station years ago.
Wardaddy upthread specified it so well, in that the kids have their own echo chamber in the reinforcement of viewpoints and anything natural and heterosexual is looked upon with disdain, especially from women/girls in particular.
That's why they are out, loud, and annoying.
