When this happened most here at FR were waiting to make a hard opinion but a lot of us who have or do ride had thoughts on the cause. A close friend of mine who still rides and I who gave it up were pretty sure you dont get seven in a headon without something else happening. A truck with a trailer sidewise, is the other something. Prayers for the families. They hand out the licenses but dont teach the driving. Also, how the he!! Do you get and keep a CDL with DUIs and crap on your record. This event is a real heartbreaker.
This is so sad...
God forgive me, but he looks like he was spawned at Chernobyl.
Bad drivers are out there, operating all sorts of vehicles. There are also wildlife amd loose pets that will put a bike and rider(s) down.
Riding in packs may be fun, give the feeling of power in unity, or a similarity to a thundering herd of wild horses, but proper spacing in regard to speed and road conditions is critical.
Looking at those photos is very sad. The bikes are too close together. Just tragic!
I travel, and see many OTR drivers of obvious foreign makeup, many with head wraps. Just an observation. Lots of pudgy older white guys, too.
