Facebook created by the deep-state for mind control, Zuckerberg never wrote code - just a puppet.

Zuckerberg is not his real name and that he is David Rockefeller’s grandson.

No way, she's Hitler's daughter working for Monsanto
making corn that'll kill everyone who believes in blogs.

February 4, 2004.

IMO way too big of a coincidence.

I find it a bit amusing that so many here know and understand that the CIA (& others) have been rogue and we have FACTS that openly show the data gathering on Americans, only to suggest this is tin foil hat nonsense.

What better way than through a public corp, where the users provide all their data willingly, knowing FB owns the data, that provides zero transparency on how the data is used?

I didn’t suggest it was created by Obama. I’m just pointing out the nature of government and looking at how we know the CIA/NSA has behaved (regarding data gathering on American’s) it just makes one consider how far back this behavior goes.

If you don’t believe it is being used to control what billions believe (and vote) then you’re truly not paying attention to these drones.

You brought in Obama as proof of your position. I pointed out that was silly.

Of course a mass communication platform is being used by a sleazy government for sleazy things. That doesn’t mean the website is a CIA plot. Always the problem with conspiracy nuts, you take a few nuggets of information and a solid assumption and go straight to crazy land.

I’ll stand by the brilliant idiot argument. There’s no way a government agency smart enough to make FB as a plot would be stupid enough to bring it on line the day they shutdown their previous attempt. And of course there’s the leak question, a lot of people had to be involved in that, how come nobody’s leaked yet? You’re in the same land as the 9-11 hoax folks, you have a conspiracy of thousands with zero leaks for 15 years. Nope. Not how people work.

Yeah and they would’ve done it sooner and faster with MySpace and AOL.

Which, as you point out, are defunct.

Much as your conspiracy theory is.

Fuzzy logic is an obvious leftist troll.

Possibly a CIA disinformation plant.

Arrogance knows no bounds. I do believe there are some brilliant people within our government agencies. That the history of FB is so murky, with many versions, may be the very reason there’s no leaks.

I brought in Obama to demonstrate the nature of some of those in government. Nothing more and nothing silly about it. These people are evil. You must think the deep-state is just a conspiracy theory too.

You missed the other half. Brilliant enough to do it, yet stupid enough to get caught by turning one on the same day as the other. The history of FB isn’t murky at all. There’s some fine points various people disagree on but the core (including actually starting in 2003) history is well documented.

You brought in Obama as a red herring. I didn’t bite the herring.

Now you’re crossing a line - no personal attacks.

I’ve been on here longer than you.

I’ve been writing code for over 35 years and I’ve always found FB history strange, been looking at it for a long time. Considering recent events around censorship and the de-platforming of conservatives, i.e. they think they really can control information on the internet, this isn’t much of a leap. FB is a monopoly, now colluding with the other tech giants in lock-step. Cross reference that against how the media and the deep-state seem to behave and you’ll have to convince me there’s no relationship.

I actually think there’s a better case to be made for Twitter being a conspiracy. This is due to it’s sheep herding features, ability to shout down dissent, make ten activists look like 15 million consumers, etc.

Ok, sorry you’re just wrong. There’s lots that isn’t agreed upon...but whatever, it’s apparent that you don’t see the alignment of behavior between FB, the rest of the tech giants, and elements of government in how they’re going to try to influence this upcoming election. Yeah...it’s all just nonsense right?!?

...my point about arrogance (that you missed); the very reason one system was shut down the same day another is brought online. They didn’t think it would be noted - it’s also too big a coincidence. Going from one system developed by the government with the goal of learning everything about everyone - which would be unconstitutional - and another that has accomplished exactly that....on the same day. How do you explain that? There’s many that consider this very odd.

Explain.
**********
It started as a DARPA project called LifeLog. Basically it’s “East Germany” ,, except the users are far stupider and self report every damn bit of their life willingly... right down to what’s for dinner with photos and embedded GPS data.

Actually all of the disparaging posts aside research shows that the premise Fuzzylogic puts forth is well founded. As for the silly responses about AOL and My Space as competitors to be used displays the ignorance of the commenter’s of what those platforms were designed for versus LifeLog.

Look into the whole Snowden revelations and the data mining and selling going on at Google and others and the picture becomes quite clear. Add in the silly notion of adding in your DNA information so you can see if you have “relatives” elsewhere and the data pool gets deeper and wider. All of this information is put to use by a variety of agencies, Medical Companies and others. Zuckerberg once comented that he did not have to force information from users, the openly and excitedly provided a treasure trove of personal information that was added into the mix for a personal Profile for as many people in the world as are willing to participate. Read George Gilder’s book, “Google - Life after the fall” and you will be educated why Google “gives” things away to gain access to the data they can capture and sell for advertising and other uses.

So I come down firmly with most if not all of what FuzzyLogic posits. I have been around code cutters for decades as well as multiple application environments bot on delivery as well as backup, redundancy and just about every tangent there is.

So say what you want, the truth is out there and my experience here on FR of 20 years tells me when Trolls get obnoxious and go after someone who “gets it” you are over the target and the ones slinging the most mud are obvious by their demeanor and messaging.

Roll on Fuzzy, I got your back

Absolute BS. Do governments invest in how they can sway opinion with social media? Of course. But to think ...

... well let me put it this way ...

If you really really believe that government can innovate and come out with a product that attractive to the market, that popular, then communism in the right hands really is a great idea.

Bit it's not. And they can't.

PENTAGON KILLS LIFELOG PROJECT

THE PENTAGON CANCELED its so-called LifeLog project, an ambitious effort to build a database tracking a person’s entire existence.

Run by Darpa, the Defense Department’s research arm, LifeLog aimed to gather in a single place just about everything an individual says, sees or does: the phone calls made, the TV shows watched, the magazines read, the plane tickets bought, the e-mail sent and received. Out of this seemingly endless ocean of information, computer scientists would plot distinctive routes in the data, mapping relationships, memories, events and experiences.
