PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - A Florida woman tried hiding $110,000 in cash beneath her dress when she was removed from her sports car Sunday afternoon after crashing through a concert at a motorcycle dealership, deputies said.
Investigators said Catherine Allford, 63, drove a Fiat 124 Spider through a closed-off area where a crowd of people were gathered for a customer appreciation event at Berts Black Widow Harley-Davidson, the Charlotte Sun reported.
Bystanders started yelling at Allford to stop as she drove through the crowd, but she kept going toward where the band was playing and ran over the guitarists foot, WFTX reported.
Investigators said the crowd continued to yell for her to stop as she tried to leave, the Sun reported. Allfords escape was momentarily halted when she hit a curb, deputies said. A dealership employee then stood in the way to block Allford from leaving but was pulled away, authorities said. Allford then put the car in reverse but hit another curb, and people surrounded the vehicle to block her from leaving, officials said.
Deputies arrived and approached Allford, who was still seated in the running car and was apparently crying as she was trying to hide something, the Sun reported.
Allford at first refused to get out of the car. As a deputy tried to help Allford from the car, she went limp and fell to the ground, the Sun reported.
When she fell, $110,000 fell out from Allfords dress. She told deputies she worked in real estate and had a lot of money, WBBH reported.
Allford told deputies she was recovering from back surgery and probably took too many pain pills, the Sun reported.

She looks better upside down.
Guitarist’s foot was the only casualty?
If so, she is really lucky.
Florida woman- there she goes again....
I wonder what happened to her face?
Yeah, but it was his wah-wah foot!
Real estate agents don’t normally carry $110k in cash.
She might have just sold a weeded lot, if you know what I mean.

A decades old Fiat? Probably lost the brakes.

Something like that. She was actually smoking dope and playing naked Monopoly at home with real cash.
That was just a little joke, btw.
Sounds premeditated, regardless if premedicated. As a Vagina-American she’ll get away with maybe 2 to 3 hours of self-supervised probation, tops.
It looks like she was born with a harelip and had corrective surgery on it at some point. I don’t see many women with such traces of the defect. Maybe they tend to put make up over the little scars. What a bizarre and terrible day for her and the crowd. A happy ocassion ruined by a drunken stranger with dollar bills falling out of her dress.
She must be in some crazy cash business. Holy Moley.
Google didn’t block it.
How many years ago was that surgery?
My nominee for lede of the year.

Ah. A, ah, realtor who carries $100,000 cash and smoked, er, "took", too many pain pills. Sounds legit.

What was she thinking?
