I always tell my friend Seamus to stay away from that wheel barrow.
He don’t know a damn thing about machinery...

Ring of stones around carbon rich soil?
So a fire pit?
For s’mores?

Ireland.
Parents came over here when I was eighteen. Cereal famine. Couldn’t get a bowl anywhere. Bad. ‘Tis a beautiful country though; lush rolling hills, and the peat, ah the peat.

My Mother was Irish and once tried to bring a block of peat back with her in her carry on. Took a while to convince the customs people it wasn’t smokable. As a fuel it barely burns and doesn’t heat at all. Makes those cute cottages cold as hell in the winter.

I loved the MAD magazine send up of that movie.
Saw it in the theaters when it was out.

2001 screenshot....
I always remember that when, in my less controlled examples of misanthropy, I link that scene to the actions of humans around me.
First one or two drivers at a 4 way stop sign intersection tried just driving straight past it. A few weeks later I see nearly all drivers do that as I near the intersection to make my full stop. They don’t slow down.
Now at several stop signs near the entrances to a shopping mall they do the same thing. You run a gauntlet on the straight road with a right of way passing the side entrances.
A resident of my large apt. complex tried sneaking his or her car to park in the premium paid spaces and the handicapped and the service vehicle no parking spaces. Now several a day are doing it, daring someone to stop them.

Giant megalithic whiskey bottles.
To: SunkenCiv
Sorry SunkenCiv that was just good old brain power that came up with that connection.
