Corona police say 32-year-old Kenneth French from Riverside allegedly assaulted the unidentified officer inside the store on Friday night. Frenchs mother, Paula, and father, Russell, were also shot and critically wounded.
Both remained in critical condition at Riverside Community Hospital on Sunday but Frenchs cousin Rick Shureih told CBS2/KCAL9s Greg Mills his uncle was doing better (he had a breathing tube removed) but his aunt is still not out of the woods.
He said Kenneth had mental issues but nothing that ever made him violent. He told Mills that Kenneth was a big guy and because of his issues he had a blank look on his face.

Yup ...
You'll see what happens if it shows the police behaving properly. If he didn't the tapes will mysteriously manage to get lost or the part that shows the office at fault will somehow get damaged.
Or was diverted from racking up his real record because of his issues?
But that was a good shoot - like 99.999999999% of them. Cops are almost NEVER convicted of murder when they kill someone. I can think of only three exceptions in the last 20 or so years - Atlanta Kathryn Johnson (because a white cop shot a black woman in a black run city), Danziger bridge shooting, and the Somali who killed a white woman despite his partner's attempts to keep him out of trouble.
The officer was the only person who fired shots in the store, the department said.

His cousins mental condition had declined in recent years...He was a gentle giant, Shureih said.
Yep! A reasonable man, holding his child in his arms, would have made sure that every shot was a head shot... Then there would be no BS tales of a devout, quiet, laid-back saint-of-a guy...
the victim and his family were unarmed......
I want the whole video.......
you and I and the rest of us.....if we have an arguement in Costco it would have to be arguing and maybe some pushing and that would be it.....the staff would have escorted you outside and you might loose your priviledges.....
people without a gun back up usually can settle things without killing people..
but not the police.....they get to shoot to kill over arguing.....

Concealed Carry citizens work hard to avoid showing gun, shooting, or killing.
Training emphasizes all the trouble, problems, and legal issues of shooting.
Quote that seems not to apply to cops:
An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.
