Dumbfounded Father(anti gun dad)
waronguns.blogspot.com ^ | 6/13/2019 | David Codrea

Ask Amy: Dad is horrified to learn there’s a gun in the house [More]

If I were the daughter I'd be demanding a paternity test, because he sounds more like Confounded Cuck.

And are Amy's exploding hollow points anything like Patricia Eddington's heat-seeking bullets that cook deer? In an indoor situation, she instructs readers that her "research" concludes a responsible concern for controlled penetration equates with "yet another (likely unsafe) gun owner in this country"?

As for 11 states banning them, does she mean "armor piercing" rounds? Because all I'm seeing are San Francisco and New Jersey, And the latter is not a ban but restrictions on transportation and use that allow for home use.

I guess all you need to be an advice columnist is an ... opinion. Ann Landers and Dear Abby were no better, except for the time I was pleasantly surprised.

She didn’t come right out and say he was gay, she implied it and indicated that he shouldn’t be dating her, a man would be more appropriate...

After that, whatever happens, happens...<: <: <:

Yeah, if he’s that wussified he would have said dumdums instead of hollow points. Unless he read the ammo box.

If he’s that pansy on this, he’s provably pansy about everything.

I’ve given her three choices: She can either give her weapon to me, sell it, or move out in three weeks.

If she's got the gun and he doesn't, who's gonna make who move out?

Daughter needs to move out. There’s no reason for a 24-year old grown woman to still be living with her parents.

And it’s not a normal gun either — it is a 40 caliber semi-automatic, and she has hollow point bullets to go with it.

Why is that not a normal gun?
What ds tis man consider is a normal gun?
Why?
Is this an just an idiot?

Dear Dumbfounded: According to my research, possessing hollow point bullets is illegal in 11 states; is it legal in your state to own this sort of exploding ammunition?

Hollow points do not explode as best I can find they are only somewhat illegal in New Jersey. What kind of moron gives advice this incorrect to the public?

Duh! "...this is the kind of weapon a criminal would possess!"

So, the problem is everything Daddy learned about guns is from gangsta rap. A "foty" is only for pulling out and shooting your ho (or Tupac).

Somebody should tell him that .40 semi-automatic handguns with hollow point ammunition are quite popular among the law-abiding, and for a number of years were probably in the top three selling guns in America. That is, until the F-Troop switched back to 9mm, and all the followers followed.

...being gay doesn't necessarily mean you're not masculine...

Oh yeah. The guys in Village People were muy macho.

Oh, I know the Nuge isn't gay. My point was that masculinity isn't ipso facto determined by sexuality. On the pyramid of Alphas and Epsilon straights I listed, I added Uncle Ted as the capstone.

And while I love everything Ted has done for Deplorablism (you could argue that Ted was Trump before Trump was Trump), that whole adoption/marriage thing made my skin crawl...right up there with Jimmy Page and Lori Maddox.

Masculinity isn’t about who’s in bed with you. Who’s more masculine: Bill Clinton or Paul Ryan or Peter Theil?

Also, the founder, primary songwriter and singer for the Village People is straight (he was married to "Claire Huxtable" for a while).

Bill Cosby was in the Village People? I also missed the part where I said all straight people had to be masculine.

Ah, my bad....I lost track of with whom I was conversing. That was meant for another poster.

Actually I think the Cos lived in the Village for a while. The Village Person in question, Victor Willis, was married to Phylicia Ayers-Allen (now Phylicia Rashad) for a while.
