Alec Jones is a head case who does no good for our cause.
I think Jim Robinson is right to keep him at a distance. He’s a drama queen, constantly exaggerates, constantly promises big bombshell breakthrough game-changing developments that never happens, and makes himself the subject of everything when he’s not interesting as a person other than as an example of a loony-tunes right-wing nutcase.
If being a conservative means being in the trenches with Alex Jones, there won’t be many conservatives.
The important aspect of Jones' plight is how left wing silicon valley companies have decided to silence him. That is something all freedom minded people should be concerned about, since censoring and de-platforming starts with people like Jones and ends with the people posting here on Free Republic.
Allowing businesses that take advantage of laws used to protect open access carriers of information to selectively censor opinions and voices they don't like is a very dangerous situation for our nation. When those activities extend to using AI based algorithms, written and controlled by leftists with a political purpose in mind, to decide whether or not someone can express their opinions we have a problem as a nation.

Totally agree with everything stated and to that I say so, I have never bothered to waste my time listening to Alex but when I watch what’s happening to Alex I have difficulty in honestly believing that the 1st amendment is as solid as it should be.
Just because Alex Jones may be melodramatic hysteric, he still has all the rights of any American citizen and if those rights are being violated, it should be the concern of all of us.
He may not be your cup of tea but he is being harassed by many of the most powerful corporations in the world who want him shut down. People should support him if they believe in free speech because once they have destroyed Jones they will start on any other groups they don’t like.
He’s got just as much right to be considered THE PRESS as anybody or any other organization on the planet.
Whatever his personal foibles maybe, he has made strong attempts to be a Watchman. You may not like all or much of what he reports, take the chicken and leave the bones. I think his heart is in the right place.
