Great live action video of search and take-down....smile for the day.
Video shows K-9 dog bite during arrest The Greenville County Sheriff's Office released video Wednesday from an April incident in which a suspect was bitten by a K-9 police dog.
On April 28, 2019, deputies responded to a residence on Columbia Avenue while attempting to locate Kevin Leroy Scott White, a suspect wanted out of Florida for violation of probation.
The video was released as part of a critical incident briefing provided by the Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Ryan Flood opens the video with an explanation of how the GCSO office of professional standards investigates incidents involving use of force.
"Consistent with all incidents involving a deputy's use of force, we do not draw any conclusions about whether the deputy's actions were consistent with our policies and in accordance with the law until the investigation has been thoroughly completed," Flood said before warning that the video may be disturbing to some viewers.
The 11-minute video shows deputies arriving at the residence with a K-9.
According to a release from the Sheriff's Office, White drove up to the property on a moped as deputies arrived and, upon seeing the deputies, got off of the moped and ran into a nearby wooded area.
Body-camera footage shows a deputy guiding a K-9 around the property. At one point a deputy is heard saying "he's getting dog-bit," before calling out the suspect's name.
According to the release, deputies eventually located White hiding inside a dishwasher unit under a porch at a nearby mobile-home park.

K-9 Dogs are not to be messed with, when that Cop says stop or surrender better to it.
Nice, worth the wait.
Having worked with military working dogs, AND EVEN IN PROTECTIVE GEAR, those jaws and teeth HURT. I can’t imagine what a grip on the scalp would feel like. Probably just peels off. Good dog. Thanks for the vid.
It was a great tracking job
bttt
Doggie did not want to let go, he loves his job LOL!!!!
My fire crew responded on an “Assist Police” call, asked to perform a forcible entry for the PD to search a clothing store that had been burglarized thru a skylight...
The owner could not be contacted to provide a key so we opened up for the PD and they released a K9 to search for the burglar...At night with lights out we couldn’t see anything but the barking, snarling and eventual screaming and pleading of the burglar to call off the dog was pitiful...
The K9 had found the burglar hiding and had seized the man by his genitals...Every time he tried to get away from the dog he got another violent shake...Dude was MESSED UP...
Good dog! Double cheeseburger for you tonight!
deputies eventually located White hiding inside a dishwasher unit
The crook was trying to come clean......
