You are absolutely correct in questioning WHY does she still play for the USA - being the hypocrite that she is proves what a fraud she is. She was an unknown before the TEAM win and she will be an unknown after her being a PART OF the TEAM.
Any success she achieves just proves how wrong her protest is all about.

This is the first instance in which I’ve seen a prominent person be chastised for not SINGING the anthem while it plays. My entire life I’ve watched athletes stand in silence during the anthem and thought nothing of it. Certainly I don’t belt out the anthem whenever I hear it. This is so silly.

I was offended that Ms. Rapinoe decided to frown and look angry during the national anthem.
I was NOT offended that she did not sing...
I have been to sporting events where national anthem is played...I don’t think I ever tried to sing along. I am NOT a good singer.
However, I never frowned during the national anthem...I never felt angry because I had to stand up during national anthem...I was happy during national anthem although I did not actually sing along. Like many people, I almost always applaud after the anthem is played...
Looking at Ms. Rapinoe during national anthem, I got the impression that she was angry about standing up...
There are some people who did not think that Ms. Rapinoe looked unhappy...There are some people who do not care if Ms. Rapinoe frowned or not as long as she was standing up...I respectfully disagree with those people.
Yesterday, the Fox Soccer panel invited Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe to an interview. Rapinoe showed up. She was smiling. She looked very happy...Ms. Rapinoe, why didn’t you do that during playing of national anthem?
She is happy to speak with Fox Soccer hosts but she feels the need to look angry during national anthem...
I did not actually watch the interview...I turned off TV after Rapinoe showed up and embraced Fox hosts. I didn’t feel like listening to Rapinoe...
Yes, indeed, USWNT may win the World Cup...I am sure national anthem will be played during the award ceremony.
I am sure that Ms. Rapinoe will make sure that she looks angry during playing of national anthem again...After the national anthem is played, she will smile again...
