Four years ago, Madonna was selling out shows at Madison Square Garden. Now, shes struggling to sell out the BAM opera house in Brooklyn.
The Material Girl singers Madame X tour that kicks off in New York City on Sept. 12 is off to a surprisingly sluggish start, with hundreds of seats still available for most gigs after more than a month on the block, The Post has learned.
Thats despite the fact that the 60-year-old pop stars upcoming tour will focus on small, theater-type venues that typically only have a few thousand seats each.

Who?
Not enough gay men.
As was posted here recently she “put the ‘V’ in vulgar”
She could always “go political.”
Few older fans care about concerts.
“Surprisingly sluggish”? OK, sure. I know I’m just waiting for a really good price. Like on the day after the concert.
Who wants to see a 60 year old skank?
Tarnished?
Is that the new word for no one wants to pay big bucks to see a way over the hill singer who is also a nasty leftist?
What? People aren’t flocking to see a 60-year-old sex symbol of limited talent from the ‘80s?
Too many younger clones who are just as skeezy, Lady Gag-gag for one.
Even Lady Gaga figured out that eventually the hits run out and you’ve got to move onto other things.
One of her ex’s described sleeping with Madonna as “lying beside gristle”
No one wants to see a 60-year old woman
shake her booty and rant about how much
sex she is having.
The cheapest seats are $220!
I wonder why they haven’t sold out !!!
Her time has come and gone. Next gig - celebrity “host” for the “Vegan Time” Food Dehydrator infomercial.
I’ve done a 180 on Lady Gaga, since she first started out, despite her politics.
Madonna isn’t worthy to shine Gaga’s shoes, in the talent department.
I’ve been to a Madonna concert...and minus all the homage to blatant occult and pagan elements that have only amped up as she’s gotten older...she is at heart: a classically trained artist in dance, even voice (I loved her performance in Evita for example) and a genuine talent in film-making as well, as her directorial skills reveal in movies like “WE” a story about the American Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson.
I will leave it at that.
Good Grief. Is that dusty old hag still around?
