Even Lady Gaga figured out that eventually the hits run out and you’ve got to move onto other things.
They turn out in droves for the Eagles or Paul McCartney or the Stones or U2 and the likes of them. Just not Madonna. Disposable top 40 pop music may be the ticket to quick fame and fortune but it's not the ticket to eternal hardcore fandom. No more hits, no more fans.
Of course, the $357 ticket price may have something to do with it.
