Last summer, a Russian man was strolling along the shore of the local Tirekhtyakh River in Yakutia when he came upon a grisly sight: the severed head of an ancient wolf. The head had been well preserved by the permafrost and still sported a full head of hair and sharp fangs.
The man, Pavel Efimov, handed the ancient head over to scientists, who dated it to over 40,000 years ago, or the end of the Pleistocene epoch, according to The Siberian Times. Now, when I saw her in “Fantastic Voyage” wearing that skintight white neoprene suit, I was still at the stage in my life when I was just starting to look at girls and think they might not really be the enemy...
When those guys all started pulling the antibodies off of Raquel Welch’s body, that theater felt too warm and my clothes started feeling kind of tight!
There was a funny story I heard about that scene.
Apparently, when the time came to shoot that scene, the director said “ACTION!” and the guys all began pulling the antibodies off of her. after a few seconds, he yelled “CUT!” All the guys looked up in surprise and when one of them asked what was wrong, he pointed at Raquel who had all the “antibodies” removed from everywhere except on her boobs and her crotch. The director, pointing at her said “She looks like a damn burlesque dancer there!” Nobody had wanted to be, er...”ungentlemanly”, so they all avoided those parts.
When they shot it again, they all went straight for her boobs and crotch at the same time as the director yelled “CUT! CUT!” Then he said to one guy “You remove them from here!” as he pointed to each of them and assigned an area for them to remove antibodies from!

I always joked that, in the days before cell phones when I was on call, I had to know the location of every pay phone on the way to and from work in much the same way those Denisovans probably had to know where every tree was at any given time with these wolves and saber toothed cats running around!

What you have there are measurements from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail. I’m talking about just body length. The body is usually measured from point of the shoulder (where the scapula meets the humerus) to point of the rump (hip meets femur).
The bigger sizes you list would be MacKenzie Valley wolves and the heaviest on record is 175 lbs (rumored to go over 200). It’s listed as having a head 12 inches long (Pleistocene wolf head is +25%).

Then explain to me how the Siberian news can state that the wolf's body measured at only 26 inches to 34 inches ( that's between two and three feet long) can weigh as much as the wolves that I posted in my previous post?
Let's see, a three foot long male wolf weighing 66 to 180 lbs. and a female weighing 50 to 120 lbs. would be so damn fat that they would be lucky they could even walk...........LOL!

Clone and cross breed with great Danes, saint Bernies, and other similarly large dogs, create “Dire Fido”.

My little mini-doxies were as intelligent as any large dog I ever had.
And huge dogs seem to be big, lovable and dumb.
