Reminds me of Lincoln’s reaction when he was asked about Gen. Joe Hooker’s quote that some people wanted him to take over the country as “dictator”. Lincoln responded, “when he wins his first battle, I’ll consider the possibility of Hooker being made dictator”. Sis, you have to win the World Cup in order to be invited to the White House; not that I care but perhaps it isn’t a cinch.
I think the whole thing of inviting sports teams to the White House should just go away. What’s the point? It just creates an opportunity for stupid athletes to make some grandstanding b.s. political “statement”.
