“Somehow this doesn’t sound too far fetched anymore.”
This is not far fetched at all. I just wish a nominal male player who would dominate women easily would make this move. Just to watch the UBER liberals in the world of sport twist themselves in knots over it.
Nadal has always looked, to me, like he could swing from both sides of the plate. Baby face, obsessed with body image...you know..
I look forward to the day when a well known Diva like Serena Williams is soundly beaten in a tournament by a Trans-Woman.
I predict, she won’t handle the loss well and will speak her mind, saying all the ‘forbidden’ things. She will refuse to be a nice girl and bow to PC. Serena may have retired before that moment comes, but it’s still possible.
The 200 ranked male would crush the top female player. I would really like to see someone do this. And he could come out as a lesbian as well, so he could keep his girlfriend. He’d make a lot of money with very little effort.
N ot even slightly far fetched. I watched about 2 minutes of Women’s Olympic diving team tryouts recently. Ugliest clunkiest. “woman” with manly muscles went dive bombing into the water, clearly a male. Didn’t do well, fortunately, but to have made it that far is scary.
This will, in fact, be the end of women’s sports. I don’t understand how any woman can be in favor of trannies in sports.
Veto! (the girl)
So if i’m feeling like a woman today , I can go play in the Lingerie Football league?
Great post, very funny!
And operating on a couple levels that folks here aren’t necessarily getting...
Yes, Nadal can be beat.
Thiem was winded from that ludicrous match w/ Djokovic — he played three straight days and gamely put up with a cry baby opponent. Thiem has the goods and has and can beat Nadal, hopefully next year. I hope his new coach, Massu, focuses on getting past lapses during long matches (Thiem and Wawrinka have a tendency to lose focus at times and let the opponent back in.) A similar situation was w/ Anderson’s loss to Nadal at the US Open was similar: he had a tough, emotional semi and couldn’t carry it into the final.
Biggest thing for Thiem is to carry wins over from one set to the next. When Wawrinka has won his Majors he kept that focus throughout— maybe Thiem, along w/ Tsitsipas, will benefit from the Warwrinka tat: “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.”
As for women competing with men, we’ve been through that here on FR: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3564368/posts
Thanks for this post, great fun!
