The next time you go to photograph your food, you might want to check the skies.
While visiting York, Maine, Alicia Jessop, a sports law professor at Pepperdine University, went to take a picture of the lobster roll she just purchased from Foxs Lobster House.
It had the makings of a classic New England scene: lobster roll in the foreground, Nubble Lighthouse in the background.
But a nearby seagull had other ideas. Just as Jessop was taking her photo, the seagull swooped in and stole her lobster roll.

That's been a question us natives have been debating forever....We should charge a lot more for a peek at heaven and “The Way Life Should Be”...

..but as long as the idiots go back to their hell holes...We'll keep letting them visit in small groups for a fee...
BTW...are you from Maliblew and paid the fee yet?
Coastal California is cool in the summer. Maine is cool in the summer. Maine has plenty of coastal fog. California has plenty of coastal fog. California has wonderful seafood. Maine has wonderful seafood. California is loaded with libs. Maine is loaded with libs.
if that’s the valley you live in....No need to see or appreciate the peaks....You couldn’t handle it up here anyway....Sit in the truck wave your smelly cowboy hat..look at 1000s of miles of useless desert and pretend you have cattle....Ohh and polish your belt buckle too....maybe someone besides the crows will be impressed by it if it shines......BTW..Ive been to Texas..may have met you....you all seem to act the same way....*G*.
Seagauo are disgusting.
I saw one chowing down in a dumpster at a sewer plant.
It was the skim of the turf swirler pond that was collected for the landfill.
Yum!
Seagulls.
Don't tell em why...lol...but here's a clue...Lobsters have Claws....Sea Cockroaches dont...
Lol.
My mom took vid of a squirrel eating a taco shell.
Sea-gullible
I took some photos of some guys at an Oklahoma Wildlife Refuge feeding prairie dogs cheesy-poofs. :-P
I don’t know. I would never pay $21.00 for any kind of “roll”.
Shrimp roll at one of the better places on the Cape are about $10.
I’m not really a Lobster guy anyway so I wouldn’t even pay $10....or $5.
Looks like it was offered for a photo op...that said, seagulls can be the worst....once snagged one as it grabbed the bait on my line as I cast it....no fun getting it unhooked...
I had one crap on me in dress uniform inspection. Guano was dripping off of my cover.
The Maine coast is incredibly beautiful.
I have been to that exact spot many times...it’s a small seafood restaurant very close to the Nubble Lighthouse.
Usually i just get a couple of hotdogs there...i hate those lobster bug things.
The Bush Compound in Kennebunkport is a fairly short drive away.
York Beach, Wells, Ogunquit in that area sooo nice...Bar Harbor further up..i get depressed when it’s time to go home.
VERY nice houses all around the area, if only i had $$$.....
This “Masshole” LOVES the state of Maine and it’s coast.
I guess i can say the same with NH and VT.
As far as i’m concerned i could care less if i ever go to Cape Cod again....
As i was grilling a sausage once at my buddy’s beach house on cape cod i momentarily turned around to grab my beer, when i looked back 3 seconds later the sausage was gone i was like WTF?...
lol
The Scientologists who "own" (who would like to) Clearwater are more crafty at it.
In the supermarkets in the Boston area, lobster meat sells for about $40/lb. - Tom
Yes, I’m aware of the Scientology presence in Clearwater proper. I don’t let them spoil my enjoyment. Democrats are a MUCH bigger pain in the butt. Clearwater Beach, across the causeway is beautiful, and one of my fave spots; even with the bandit gulls.
