“whatever that is...”
According to the local “experts”, that will be the centerpiece for his appeal.
Justice for Justine!
ANYTHING is an improvement over what is normal for a cop.
12-1/2 years, he'll probably be out in seven years, which just happens to be roughly the average sentence served for a run of-the-mill first degree premeditated murder.
More to the point, it just might have a chilling effect on some of the more hotheaded people who know they really shouldn't be cops.
She’s always been exceptional.
It could have been and should have been more. However, I was expecting them to walk him. So it is better than nothing.
Pathetic. Limp. Our “just us” system is a joke, a laughing stock.
I see it now.....Bruiser, you’re next after Bubba.......
Yeh .......hopefully one of her friend and or family is very patient and accurate .
*SMOOCH* Your check is in the mail, LOL! :)
I appreciate what you are saying, and believe me I dont cry in my beer over such things. But you know, were this guy to get offed in prison it wouldnt be because he killed that poor woman, it would be solely because he was a cop.
I followed this case and trial via Powerline blog where one of the guys did yoemans work covering it. I have to say that in the end I think the guy just screwed up, majorly and illegally, but I do not think he acted with malice aforethought.
Please forgive any spelling errors as this is from my phone
Been following this since Justine was executed.
I consider this a win/lose/lose outcome.
A win because the mohammedan was convicted and sentenced to prison.
A lose because because he didn’t get nearly enough prison time.
A lose because now the Minnesota mohammedan groups have a living martyr to rally around.
I just wonder if his attorneys have the inevitable appeals ready for filing?
