Global stars will emerge over the course of the 52 games as a bigger audience than ever tune in to watch more countries than ever compete for the prestigious prize. The capacity of the stadiums in France means that the record attendance of 90,185 set on that sweltering Californian afternoon in the summer of 1999 -- still a record for a female sporting event -- will not be eclipsed, but the television figures for France 2019 are expected to put the 2015 Women's World Cup, which attracted a global TV audience of 750 million, in the shade.

At least the trannies haven’t ruined women’s soccer yet.

From what I have seen so far this year, the US team is going to have a hard time repeating. The goaltending is weak and the back line is vulnerable. We will need to score more to offset our defensive weaknesses. And there is no doubt that there is greater parity than 2015.

Australia is a dark horse that could surprise along with favorites like France, Germany, England, and Japan.

Go find a good middle school boys game and you can see better, live soccer for free. And probably a lot less hate for the U.S.

I will be rooting for the US team to lose.

The team has chosen an anti-American as team captain. Megan Rapinoe should not be on the US National team while at the same time protesting against that nation. I the US team wins, that gives her greater position to protest.

I'm praying that the US team gets knocked out in the first round! US soccer star Megan Rapinoe says she will 'probably never sing the national anthem again'

In the past the home team of the WC could count on getting some biased calls but now VAR looks to have changed that.

Meanwhile, the men lose 3-0 to Venezuela.

The US Men’s team hasn’t been this bad since the 1980s.

Soccer is uninteresting. Easily, one of the most boring athletic games ever devised.

While the U.S. women’s national team is just hours away from playing Thailand in its first Women’s World Cup game, the most talked about player might not even be on the team. Goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher and midfielder Julie Ertz fielded questions Sunday about former goalkeeper Hope Solo – who was in goal for the U.S.’ 2015 Women’s World Cup victory. Solo had been critical of U.S. coach Jill Ellis and called her a poor leader who “cracks under pressure.” https://www.foxnews.com/sports/womens-world-cup-2019-hope-solo-comments-alyssa-naeher
