The former Minnesota cop convicted of fatally shooting an unarmed Australian bride-to-be has proposed a bizarre sentence to honor her.
Mohamed Noor, 33, filed a motion Wednesday asking a judge to lock him up for weeklong stints that overlap with 40-year-old Justine Ruszczyk Damonds birthday and the anniversary of her death, according to news station KSTP.

How about a sentence that starts immediately and ends on what would have been her 70th birthday. Best part of 30 years should be about right.
Minneapolis: the Malmo of America.
For someone not born here, he’s sure got the sense of entitlement down. I hope someone kills him.
Third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter are no big deal ? What if that standard applied to every "first-time offender" ?
Did the reporter leave out the fact he also requested conjugal visits by his camel during those week-long stints in the calaboose?
Trump continues to let these people in, and the mexican illegals are just pouring in and being caught and released into the country.
All this must end, but it appears nothing is changing.
You seem to be desperate for a dictator. President Trump seems to be doing everything he can WITHIN THE LAW.
You and the rest of your impatient brethren must have been Obama enthusiasts! (TIC)
If you cannot wait for a permanent and LEGAL resolution, I suggest you pack your bag, lubricate your weapon, and head directly for our Southern border and fix the problem yourself!
(Nothing personal, but I'm sick and tired of the whining of those who have NO patience nor grasp of the reality of our current political and legal situation)

As I stated previously, take care of business yourself if you no longer have the patience.
I understand your mindset completely. I follow relatively the same line of reasoning you put forth and find it difficult to dismiss.
I then step back and analyze the situation from as many perspectives as I can personally conjure.
I would love to be “Rambo” and be able to simply put down all of the “Domestic” enemies who pervert our society from within through multiple facets.
However, that is NOT the hand we’ve been dealt (at this time).
Perhaps in the near future it will be the better of choices to impose such unilateral decisions.
But for now, we, unfortunately, MUST play within the bounds of law that our dysfunctional society has imposed upon us.
I must repeat, this is NOT personal.
How about a sentence that ends at the end if a rope? This guy deserves no less.
“Been waiting over 38 years and have been told to keep waiting since then.”
We the People were successfully subverted on this issue. Powerful forces willed it against our will, using our tolerance against us. Not sure how we can fix it.
What happened to not letting past history be part of the trial and sentencing?
If he had a rap sheet a mile long, they'd be prohibited from bringing it up.
He gunned down in cold blood a woman who was no danger or threat to anyone and was only looking for help.
The death penalty was made for people (for lack of a better term) like him. It needs to be reactivated.
What, you get one killing for free?
