It is so sad what has become of the large cities of the Western World. They are leading the way down the path to Hell.
Is it the high population density that attracts the scum of the earth, and causes well-meaning urban dwellers to trade away their civil liberties in return for security and entitlements?
Do urban liberals ever receive the security they bargained for, or is liberalism in a large city just one giant protection racket?
My wife and I always planned someday to travel as retired tourists to London, Paris and the other great cities of the Western World, but, one by one, we are scratching them off our list.
Unfortunately, the only remaining way to appreciate these historic cultural centers is to watch scenes in a movie, which recreate past glory through the brilliant use of CGI.
