President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump dined with the royal family and other important British politicians on Monday night at Buckingham Palace.
Queen Elizabeth II hosted a State Banquet at the Palace, which was attended by Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prime Minister Theresa May (who has just days left in her term), Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and more. Trump's children Ivanka Trump her husband Jared Kushner, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Eric's wife Lara Trump and Tiffany Trump also attended the banquet.(snip)
The royals all looked their best on Monday evening at the formal event as many of them wore white dresses.
The First Lady wore a floor-length Dior Haute Couture ivory gown. Kate Middleton stunned in an Alexander McQueen dress. She also wore some impressive heirlooms as jewelry, including the Queen Mother's sapphire and diamond fringe earrings as well as the Lover's Knot Tiara, which belonged to Prince William and Prince Harry's mother Princess Diana. The Duchess of Cambridge has worn this specific tiara a number of times to various official dinners and banquets.
The tiara itself is over 100-years-old.
The Queen wore an Angela Kelly dress while Camilla had on a Bruce Oldfield dress.
President Trump sat next to Queen Elizabeth and the Duchess of Cornwall at the meal. There were 170 people there in total. According to reports, the meal consisted of steamed filet of halibut, new Windsor lamb, strawberry sable with lemon verbena cream, fresh fruit and coffee and petit fours.
The 93-year-old monarch welcomed the U.S. President in a warm speech and praised the longstanding relationship between the two countries. She said she was "delighted to welcome" President Trump to Buckingham Palace for the banquet.

Prince Charles doesnt like walking with beautiful women like Melania. Hence the old bag of a wife, Camilla.
The President has probably worn a tux more times than 1000 businessmen combined. He wears a suit and tie except when golfing.
What is going on with Melania’s dress at the hip? Or is it just the way the light is hitting it? The Queen seems curious about it, as well.
Of course it's not. The original poster (not me) was just joking. I'm sure Trump has a large collection of formal wear.
As an aside, I thought Kellyanne Conway looked beautiful in that dress.
Thankful for small blessings.
I’m sure you are correct, and I applaud the formality - particularly juxtaposed to some of the attire of other recent Presidents. My comment was a tongue in cheek response to a previous post.
Kellyanne gets my vote for the most streamlined. Thats a great look for her. I am a recovering photographer and I wish they had called me for some of those group shots. They need just a little tweaking.
Very nice. Thanks for posting.
....at least PDJT knows protocol... I’ll never forget Odungo trying to speak over “God Save The Queen” during his toast...MORON POS!
To the First Lady's List.
they smile like sharks. The perfect facial expression yet cold and uncaring eyes.,
He’s being blocked by Tiffany who appears to have put on 60 lbs. Or is it entirely the dress?
God bless her little heart...
It’s fun to play dress-up. The Trumps not only seem to be enjoying themselves but their presence adds class and beauty to the proceedings.
In the elderly, mental health can turn on a dime. Literally overnight.
My Aunt, 89 years old was sharp as a tack, then we stopped hearing from her. Voice mail, no return calls, completely out of the norm. She lived in England with her Sons close by. We called one of the sons (the most trusted of the three) and discovered she was briefly hospitalized for dementia and then tucked all nice and neat in home for the elderly.
That was really funny
Melania looks WONDERFUL as always. The First Daughters also look nice, though that dress isn’t too flattering on Tiffany. Can’t her ‘Steps’ dress her a bit better?
Kellyanne looked terrific, and Sarah looked like she was enjoying herself. I can’t wait to read her book once she’s done with this gig; I predict it’s going to be a hoot!
That said, since I’m never going to marry into Royalty, I’m just gonna buy myself a Tiara and wear it around the barnyard, LOL! It was nice that Kate trotted out Princess Diana’s Tiara. Nice touch. :)
