Staten Island is to New York City what the Vatican was to Italy during WWII. I haven't spent much time there but it's a decent area. All the nice places in Manhattan, in some ways, can't compete with a breakfast sandwich from a corner deli in Staten Island.
Also...my employer paid for all those steak dinners...I'd have to sell an organ to cover the tab if I did it myself.
As for Anisette, this is my preference:
...and my favorite Midtown Greek restaurant (thought...again..a NJ diner would suffice most of the time).
How the HELL did we get so far off topic?!?! :)
Another place I didn’t know that I had to look up!
NICE when the boss picks up great dinners :)
I got a 30 dollar allowance for meals when I worked more than 9 hours at an investment bank, which was often.
I would throw in another 20 or 30 sometimes to get something very nice.
I worked at Rockefeller Plaza and before that the Financial Center and before that the Beautiful Twin Towers.
