Yeah, wasn’t it just yesterday that the Mexican pres was insisting that people had a “right” to invade the US?
Yep. Only a fool would believe Obrador has changed his tune.
Like all Central and South American politicians, he looks at the US as a bottomless supply of endless wealth for himself and his country. Can we blame them? It was US politicians who set the gravy train into motion to begin with. That status quo has now existed for generations, and has become part of the woof and warp of their economies.
Obrador and his like will never do anything to stem the tide of illegal immigration because it benefits them immensely. Through illegal immigration, they can export their poor - who are a net drain on their resources - and turn them into a net financial gain, because they send billions of dollars back to their home countries.
Big business in the US loves the cheap labor, and they donate generously to US politicians who keep the system going. The folks back home in Mexico love it because the kids send dollars to them. The Mexican politicians love it because the illegals enrich the country. The cartels love it because transporting illegals to the US is a lucrative business. US politicians love it because the illegals are slowly supplanting the American people - who are not on board with the whole dirty business of selling America out - and those new citizens will vote for more of the same.
Yep, everybody loves illegal immigration except those who are paying for it - the American people.
