Meghan McCain issued a stark warning Friday to House Democrats who were pushing for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
“If you take this kill shot, Democrats, you better not miss,” she said during the opening segment of ABC’s “The View.”

“Oh, my God. I mean metaphorical,” she said. “I’m a hunter and shooter and I talk like a redneck, sorry, but I will say you have to successfully do this if you’re going to impeach him. It can’t be proceedings that don’t end up successful. Don’t take that the wrong way. I feel bad now.”

I think Meghan McCain is severely misguided and mostly deranged, but she is right (even if she didn’t express it very well.)
The hero worship she has for her father reminds me of the child of a prisoner on death row, who stubbornly insists he didn’t do it in the face of all the evidence that he did.
I don’t think any rational person would think she actually meant “kill”, but we are a nation of pearl clutchers now so of course she had to apologize.
The double standard is obvious, though.
She’s another dummy that thinks impeachment is removal. Impeachment is a huge win in 2020 for the President- we get discovery

When you stop accepting election results, you have a countdown to a civil war.
What do sure odds of the Democrats rejecting the next Republican president really mean? It means they don’t accept the results of any election that they don’t win. It means they don’t believe that transfers of power in this country are determined by elections. That’s a civil war.
When you consistently reject the results of elections that you don’t win, what you want is a dictatorship. Your very own dictatorship !
Now we’re seeing what the pros do when amateurs try to walk in on them. They spy on them, they investigate them, and they send them to jail. They use the tools of power to bring them down. That’s not a free country.
It’s not a free country when FBI agents who support Hillary take out an ‘insurance policy’ against Trump winning the election. It’s not a free country when Obama officials engage in massive unmasking of the opposition. It’s not a free country when the media responds to the other guy winning by trying to ban the conservative media that supported him from social media. It’s not a free country when all of the above collude together to overturn an election because the guy who wasn’t supposed to win did.
Have no doubt, we’re in a civil war between conservative volunteer government and a leftist Democrat professional government.

Too many people, whom I think should know better, throw that term around without expressing an understanding that it does NOT mean removal from office.
Bill Clinton was impeached, but not convicted by the Senate.
At the time, I was upset because I wanted Justice to be served. However in hindsight, an Incumbent Al Gore would have won the presidency in 2000.
