Trump Celebrates LGBT Pride Month, Urges World to Decriminalize Homosexuality

President Donald Trump tweeted Friday in celebration of LGBT Pride Month, which begins in June, and repeated his administration’s call for the international community to decriminalize homosexuality in countries where it is illegal.

Trump has frequently been attacked by LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) activists on the left, particularly for his administration’s policies on transgenderism.

Trump has barred transgender individuals from serving in the military, and reversed Barack Obama’s policies encouraging public schools to provide for transgender bathrooms. His administration also recently insisted on sticking to a definition of sexual discrimination that refers to biological sex.

More broadly, however, President Trump has championed gay rights at home and abroad.

On the campaign trail in 2016, he was proud of his support from the LGBT community, emerging onstage at a rally in Colorado bearing a Pride flag with the words, “LGBT for Trump.”

That is a copy out, Jesus did not come here to make over
government, he came to bypass the religious institution and put
the laws of God in peoples hearts where they belong.

There are scriptures in the Bible which make it clear that the
devil is the ruler of this world, we have religion every where
which makes it of this world and is of Satan, this is why christ
came in person.

Jesus died so that you and I can be saved in spite of our miserable
wrongs.

Jesus did not come to change any laws, he came to put them in our
hearts, Jesus said many shall come in my name saying I am Christ and
deceive many, now his name is praised the world the world over.

If Jesus was not who he said how would he have known that it would happen
like that? it seems as you believe the law is nothing then why did Jesus
put it in our hearts?

Unbelievers are going to that place called hell, but in the meantime
countries have to have laws to live by if we like them or not, I think about
thirty states still have capital punishment laws for the crime of murder.

I do not believe we need to put homosexuals to death but the promoting of it
should call for the death penality, it probably won’t stop any one from being
homosexual but it will help stop them from promoting it to children as that is
much worse than murder.

But we need to remember that the laws of God came from Christ himself as he was
the word of God from the beginning.

Trump recognizes the huge personal benefit he has enjoyed owing to the decriminalization of adultery and other fornication. Those relatively recent changes have had a huge effect on our society.

You're talking to someone that believes nuclear weapons should be completely legal as long as they follow the same laws as the Military does. There was a person that purchased an F16 fully armed he was restricted to flying it only on a military airbase. This would be the same with a nuclear weapon. The only advantage he would have would be able to push the button after he paid for the device. The military or nuclear regulatory industry would tell him when, where and how he can blow it off.

My opinion homosexual in entertainment industry should be discouraged in anyway we can.

Islamic laws when applied by their book means the person MUST die. If an Islamic country gives a prison sentence that isn't Islamic law that is a result of some kind of compromise.

I strongly support Trump’s conservative agenda and at same time recognize that he is not conservative on some gay issues.

Fortunately, as a good politician, Trump seems to be sensitive to the concerns of the religious right and social conservatives who helped get him elected. That’s why Franklin Graham and Jerry Falwell Jr should raise a stink about this.

I agree with most of the president's political positions. But this is most disagreeable.

Unfortunately, not many folks fear the judgment of God on any nation that approves homosexuality. But it's coming.

God turned "the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes [and] condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly….", whether they believe it or not. (2 Peter 2.6)

Trump plays his Christian base and this will not go over well. His new found support for sexual deviants is sickening and disgusting. The first two years of his presidency he refused to recognize these militant asses now he’s caved and I guarantee his liberal daughter and son-in-law are behind this garbage. Let’s see if Pastor Jeffrees continues to make every excuse in the book for his anti-Christian behavior. I’ve never thought he’d be re-elected. The deep staters want him gone. But he certainly does not help himself with mindboggling crap like this. Two years now and counting and drag queens are still in the military. Now we know the reason.

Russian under Putin has taken over the high moral ground on Christianity. The Orthodox Church is is making a comeback and Putin will not tolerate sodomites trying to take over. He’s outlawed any type of special “rights” for them and has given speeches about the harmful effects their behavior has on the family.

I agree; Putin is trying to restore Christianity in Russia while we continue to push it further out of the picture.
