Barr Says Mueller Was Wrong, ‘Could’ve Reached a Decision’ on Obstruction

Attorney General William Barr said that special counsel Robert Mueller was wrong when Mueller said he could not recommend charging President Donald Trump with a crime if enough evidence existed. Mueller, speaking for the first time since the submission of his report to Barr, claimed on May 29 that his team’s avoidance of a traditional prosecutorial decision—a recommendation to press charges or not—was due to Department of Justice policy. “Under long-standing Department policy, a President cannot be charged with a federal crime while he is in office. That is unconstitutional. Even if the charge is kept under seal and hidden from public view—that too is prohibited,” Mueller said, citing the department’s Office of Legal Counsel.

Everyone is ignoring the fact that what Mueller says is meaningless, and not part of his port.

Only what he wrote matters.

Of course the entire exercise was meaningless, except to give Dems an excuse to impeach if they wish. Dems can impeach using the same 3 charges that were about to used against Nixon when he resigned. Mueller did his job for the Dems as best he could without outright lying.

He’s Black Hat, Deep State.

A rancher’s analysis of the Mueller Report

A Wyoming rancher’s summary of the Mueller report and Democrats’ hapless ongoing efforts in one sentence:

“While we recognize that the subject did not actually steal any horses, he is obviously guilty of trying to resist being hanged for it.”

Or, Mueller could have said there was enough evidence for congress to indict. That would have meant he would have to describe and document that evidence and explain why it was indictable.

Heh, so much for that.

Here’s what bothers me:

People are taking this to mean that Mueller COULD HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO INDICT.

BARR DOESN’T MEAN THAT! BARR MEANS HE COULD HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO NOT...REPEAT NOT...INDICT, WHICH HE SHOULD HAVE DONE BUT DID NOT HAVE THE COURAGE OR WILL TO DO THAT.

IT TOOK BARR AND ROSENSTEIN TO MAKE THE CORRECT “DECISION.”

So Mueller burned through money like a socialist on steroids, all the time knowing he could never charge the President ? He needs to pay that money back.
