I must admit I would bend the knee. Watch too many English period pieces. :)

From Lexington-Concord to Yorktown, thousands of American Patriots roll over in their graves at the thought of “bending the knee” to an English monarch.
She may be a nice, sweet old broad, but neither a bow nor a bended knee will she EVER get from me.
I wouldn’t bend the knee. I’m an American.
But it always amuses me to see these threads, and the hatred some seem to have for the Brits and their monarchy.
We pay homage to them, their history, culture and ideas every day through our own laws and ideals. We didn’t exactly spring fully formed from the brows of the Founders.
