"...Plessys family approved of the plea deal... Wow I know forgiveness is a Christian tenet, but...it wasn't like he broke the window on her car or pulled some stupid stunt like putting flaming dog crap in front of her door and accidentally setting the house on fire.
It was a serious felony crime with intent. Gotta say, don't know if I could "approve" that plea deal.

The victim is invited to come to court and meet the guy who stole his property or burglarized his house so he can say hes sorry. If he does this, he gets to avoid prison.
-------------------
"Mr White, this is Felonious Monk, the teen who broke into your house."
 "Hey, bro, whazzup!"
"You up the river I hope."
"Hey, chill, homey. Hey, I just wanna say, "my bad," for breaking into your crib."
 "That hardly seems adequate."
"Hey, like, I'm just getting started.  Sorry for doing your daughter."
 "What?"
"... and spittin' in your work thermos..."
 "What?"
"... and putting a key logger on your computer..."
 "What?"
"... and logging into your bank to get all your money and spend it on a meth party for my boys."
"Why is this thug only being charged with trespassing?"
"It's part of the plea deal, Mr White.  And now he's free to go."
"Is this what passes for justice in New York City?"
"Yes, it is Mr White.  New York, New York is a hell of a town."
 "It sure is."
"... oh, and I be takin' a piss without liftin' the seat, too."

We can make several assumptions about this incident. The Judge and the perps will not be accurately described by the media. This young thug has learned a valuable lesson. The justice system will give him a pass, a slap on the wrist for a vicious crime. He will have future victims and the family of this victim is complicit.

Too much to hope that he’s killed inside?

Well, either way works for me.
This Country is sinking into the Abyss. I’m afraid it’s too late to save it.
I got on Twitter today on the Link with Sarah Sanders statement about Mulehead’s Investigation ending. What a frigging sewer.
I made a few comments to the Morons Posting there and then I had to take a shower.

Can't speak for other folks but when I was 15 I knew that stealing cars...and killing people...were very strongly frowned upon.

Can't speak for other folks but when I was 15 I knew that stealing cars...and killing people...were very strongly frowned upon. Sadly, that's not the case in this country any more. You're a racist if you put a minority in jail even when they admit to the crime. Insanity...

It's a pity that she didn't avail herself of Louisiana's very specific "shoot the carjacker" law, which was passed in the early '90s when that particular crime first arose.
I winced a bit at the location given; I used to pass that spot going to and from high school in the '70s. Back then, Prentiss Avenue was still in the safe zone, though things got dicey a bit to the south along the U.S. 90 corridor.

#1. Enough reasons to execute the bastard. Or at least 20-life for carjacking AND manslaughter. New Orleans, the whorehouse and crime capital of Louisiana.
