Television weather is irrelevant.
Their job is not to keep people safe.
Their job is to entertain. Perversely, bad weather is entertainment. It is not news or a safety alert because your cell phone gave you that information several hours and several minutes ago.
The world would be a better place if all television news teams were carried off to Oz and never heard from again.
