Tea tree oil, I’ll try it.
A friend with the same problem recommended 90% alcohol, to dry it out, moisture is the root problem???
Burns a bit but kind of works.
The dermatologist, did NOT test, but in her opinion, thinks it is a yeast infection, not a fungus?
I always thought it was a fungus?
Hmm - in my 1st. aid class the theory was: if it’s dry, keep it moist, if it’s moist, keep it dry. (the infection that is).
Not to keep belaboring the point but here’s a great website about it: https://draxe.com/tea-tree-oil-uses-benefits/
Yeast is a type of fungus.
I also have various forms of arthritis along with skin condition, I was put on Cosentyx and also TACROLIMUS 0.1% solution as a topical.
Didn’t do crap for the arthritis, however my skin looks great. Was told once I stop using Cosentyx, the skin conditions will come back within 6 months.
Ask your doctor about long term therapy with miconazole, ketoconazole, or one of these in that family.
You will need an rx after exam and blood tests for kidneys and liver, because some have side effects that are exacerbated by other problems and conditions.
if it truly is a fungus, you can get Hold of it.
Probably take a while, as it takes months and months to clear some fungus'
I had it on may hands and thighs, took over a year, was treated in the mid seventies, not recurred since.
