yeast is the dormant root stage, the fruiting body is the fungus.

Ask your doctor about long term therapy with miconazole, ketoconazole, or one of these in that family.

You will need an rx after exam and blood tests for kidneys and liver, because some have side effects that are exacerbated by other problems and conditions.

if it truly is a fungus, you can get Hold of it.

Probably take a while, as it takes months and months to clear some fungus'

I had it on may hands and thighs, took over a year, was treated in the mid seventies, not recurred since.

miconazole, ketoconazole, or one of these in that family.

My personal physician, a GP had me try one like that, it returns.
I suspect the problem is the moisture, allows the yeast/fungus to remain over the long term.

I even had a fan under my desk at work!
