Oregon authorities are seeking a would-be thief who was armed with a hatchet when he tried to rob a convenience store, only to flee when the clerk drew a gun and called 911.
However, the clerk's quick thinking cost him his job, with the president of Plaid Pantry in Oak Grove explaining to local station KOIN-TV that the chain has a zero-tolerance policy for weapons.
He said employees are trained to de-escalate robbery situations to avoid injury, according to the station.

Every older guy I know who has been a long term heavy pot user has serious man boobs. Some should be wearing D cups.
Store clerk appeared unrattled by the robbery attempt...and very quick with his weapon. I’m thinking he’s practiced.
He definitely seemed very calm and collected. Only thing I saw that could have gone wrong is he got a little close to the guy. But, that’s just my personal opinion. I’m not getting within arms reach and it looked like he did.
But I love they way he calmly picked up the phone and called someone.
They need to go to Victor’s Secret.
