Driver charged with DUI after wild RV chase in Los Angeles

The driver who went on a demolition derby in a stolen RV — with one of her dogs hanging out of the smashed windshield during the high-speed police chase — is now facing charges, including driving under the influence.

The woman was not immediately identified but was described as Hispanic and in her 40s. She is accused of sending cops on a chase through San Fernando Valley on Tuesday evening in the stolen RV — and with two dogs on her lap as she smashed into at least six cars and trees, ABC 7 reported.

Both dogs were recovered. The one at the crash scene appeared to be injured, leaving bloody paw prints behind as it sat next to the woman. They are being checked out by veterinarians.

Two people inside the Hyundai were injured and another driver who was hit as the RV sped through an intersection suffered six broken ribs and a punctured lung.

The RV was left with a gaping hole on the front right side as a result of the dramatic chase, which was broadcast live by a helicopter.
