LOL! What total fidiots. Conservatives and the gopE are NOT the same buttplug and chris wallace. Of course it would take some brain power to understand that.

Trump’s Presidency a ‘Hostile Takeover’ of the GOP

I actually agree with this, and consider it very good that it happened. They were simply an arm of the deep state.

Winning an election = hostile takeover.

Unless you are a democrat. Then it is a mandate.

I can't tell him how much true conservative Republicans value the insights of an elfin gay socialist on the history of conservatism. I really can't.

He has a shelf life of 60 days, the people behind Biden and Bernie are currently building the background bombs to take him down.

Trump is the agent chosen by the People of the Republican Party to be their standard-bearer in 2016; in November of that year, despite a rigged election and wall-to-wall, unrelenting media derision of Trump, the American People chose him to be the standard-bearer for the entire country.

Diss the People at your (political) peril, Buttplug.

And we’re supposed to believe he liked the old, cuckolded, gelded, weak, capitulating GOP? Ok.

Conservatives took back the Republican party, after giving them a chance with the Tea Party movement, then giving them both houses of Congress, with still no consideration of conservative ideals. Trump was the next to last resort.

It may come to the last resort, at which point it could be truly hostile.

Ha. I remember back 2009-2017, NO ONE was allowed to remain publicly employed after criticizing the president.

Trump won in about 2,600 counties; Clinton won in less than 500.
That sure was hostile of him!

It’s a very good analogy. There were good and bad “hostile” takeovers. The good ones occurred when bad management was depressing the value of a company, usually by bloating it up to create a big empire of different businesses that supposedly only they could manage. There was no way to get rid of them because they had the board in their pocket; over time management had nominated most of the board.

So called “corporate raiders” went over the heads of the boards, directly to the shareholders, to get them to oust management and put the new team in charge. Naturally management hated the new team and vilified them (and in some cases convinced the government to jail them) regardless of the rightness (or wrongness) of their plan, but just because management didn’t want to lose their jobs.

That is exactly what it is, as I’ve been calling it for two years plus.

Stop reading the FR archives, Buttplug.

Trump got 45% of the primary votes in 2016 compared with 25% for Cruz, 13% for Kaysuck, and 11% for Little Marco.

How exactly did Trump force all those primary voters to vote for him, and how was that a “hostile takeover”?

This guys most likely the 2024 D nominee IMHO... He’s only around to build some name recognition and donor networks for the 2024 run... and honestly, he’s more intelligent by at least half, than every other D running this cycle.

Of course, when you refuse to vote for him in 2024, no matter the reason, you will just be a homophobic small minded redneck.

They will use him to try to create a 2008 cycle repeat, using a homosexual, instead of an African American.
