Granted- there are the occasional freakishly strong females- but by and large- even athletic women aren’t as strong or fast as hormonally weakened men pretending to be women-
Lots of good woman engineers here in Israel. Also, I worked with woman engineers in the Midwest and Silicon Valley and they were fine.
If gender isnt important why do engineers need to have more women?
Women themselves do not want to put the long hours into these areas of study. They have determined its far easier to marry an engineer and have access to the perks of that career, that way.
Good Lord... Women are ALREADY A MAJORITY in nearly every engineering discipline. At the last three universities I visisted (for recruiting) females comprised a majority of students in every engineering field except computers.

The idea we should drop standards to get more women into engineering is supremely stupid.
IMO, women make better computer programmers. I had a group of women working for me, who were Application Developers. I called them my ‘coding machines’. Their code had virtually no problems in production, great work ethics, not distracted by non job related issues, great leadership skills etc.
Plenty of good women engineers. However, in fields such as engineering where actual results matter and second best or participation trophy level abilities get people killed... It is my firm belief that advancement should be 100% merit based. Gender, race, etc are all a distant secondary consideration.
Yeah; let’s. That PC crap killed the space program and many other areas where the U.S. used to excel. I can’t say what DH saw in his career, but it was pretty awful.
Affirmative action is killing gender equality. How many young women are screwed out of MIT, etc because of their lack of melanin.
How do we know, by looking at a class of engineers, that those who appear to be men, are not actually women, or desire to be women, or have not yet started the chemical and medical procedures to become women?
Why should we assume their gender, simply by looks?

Is this posted because you do NOT want more women engineers? Girls and boys are different, but there is a spectrum. I’m thrilled that my little daughter likes to help her big brother’s robotics team!
