One of our female relatives, a grandmother with a lot of grandkids in her area is often the official driver and caretaker.
When a grandchild gets sick or hurt, she often takes the kids to the ER or doctor’s’ offices. The parents don’t have to miss work, and she has a bag with the necessary papers for the kids to be seen and cared for.
She noticed that when a similar grannie came into an ER or Dr’s waiting room wearing an ICE hat and Jacket, those waiting rooms cleared out fast!

My mom would often tell the story of how she lost a spelling bee - spelling vittles that way. It’s funny the memories that stay with us! Anyway, she taught me the correct spelling, and somehow, I’ve never forgotten it: victuals :)

One of my neighbors is kind of an ass.
Some one,(not me) went off shore fishing. Caught several Mahi Mahi. Cleaned them which means skinning em. cutting their heads off. gutting them and then taking the fillets.
Then they dumped it all, fish guts, heads and skins and bones in the asses front yard.
Oh my what a mess.
Too funny.
Maybe he was looking for an easy woman like Lisa Page ... and thought the 'FBI' story would work...
Victuals might be the official spelling, but EVERYONE in flyover country refers to them as vittles.
I would prefer Okeechobee Black Catfish!
