A federal judge has ordered the State of Florida to provide all election ballots in Spanish starting with the 2020 election cycle.
The judge agreed with a group of voters born in Puerto Rico who said the lack of Spanish ballots limited their access to the polls and that the English-only ballots are a violation of the Voting Rights Act.
“Compliance with this Order is not optional,” wrote Chief Judge Mark Walker of the Northern District of Florida Gainesville Division, according to Fox News. “This Court will not hesitate to use every tool the law provides to enforce this Order.”
The judge also re-affirmed that people born in Puerto Rico are U.S. citizens and English-only ballots violate the rights of those raised and educated in Spanish.
Walker ordered that all primary and general election ballots must also be printed in Spanish starting with the ballots in March of 2020.
But the judge also praised the State of Florida for its plans to address the situation on its own. Gov. Ron DeSantis and Secretary of State Laurel Lee have already begun the process of providing Spanish-language ballots in all 32 counties in time for the 2020 elections. The government “should be applauded” for the effort, Walker said.
Walker noted that his ruling is meant to ensure that greater ballot access is applied.

Only natural born Citizens has the right to vote.
Only Citizens who passed the Citizen application has the right.
Citizens from another country can vote with absent application and verified by that country. We could print ballot in their language and give them that. Individually!

I have voted in Florida many many years.....I have worked in the precincts on Election Day.....I have been an observer for long hours during voting....
...and I have never seen anyone given the option of a ballot in Spanish....ever!

Actually, All of the majority Hispanic State Senate and State House seats are in Miami-Dade, thanks to the Cubans. The Puerto Ricans in Central Florida supported Obama and Hillary.

Chief Judge Mark Walker is another damn Barack Obama appointee. What a bunch of crap that the United States of America must print all ballots in Spanish! We are an English speaking county. Why not Hungarian, German, Greek, japanese, Chinese, Polish, Danish, etc. Get the idea? Who is this Judge Walker anyway?
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
Rule #1 for patriots is to check all federal laws, regulations and official acts of the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification federal government against the fed’s constitutionally limited powers to see if the feds actually have the express constitutional authority to justify an action.
That being said, please consider the following.
Regarding the judge's decision, if a citizen cannot read state and federal laws, including the federal government’s limited powers enumerated in the Constitution, then how did that voter become a citizen in the first place?
People, including citizens, who cannot read the law of the land shouldn't be allowed to vote imo.
In fact, regardless that the judge seems to be arguing that citizenship automatically confers the power to vote, note that a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting Supreme Court justices had indicated that citizenship does not automatically give a person the power to vote.
“3. The right of suffrage was not necessarily one of the privileges or immunities of citizenship before the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment, and that amendment does not add to these privileges and immunities.” —Minor v. Happersett, 1874.
Also, regardless of politically correct interpretations of the 15th Amendment, a voting rights amendment protecting on the basis of race, the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect the voting rights citizens who are not able to speak English.
15th Amendment:
"Section 1: The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, [language(???),] or previous condition of servitude.Section 2: The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation [emphases added].”
”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.
So just as the Constitution needed to be amended to effectively give women the express right to vote, the Constitution likewise needs to be properly amended to give citizens who don't speak English the right to vote, instead of letting an activist judge get away with wrongly amending new voting rights to the Constitution from the bench.
The bottom line is that the Voting Rights Act of 1965 is wrongly partly based on a politically correct, pro-Democratic addition to the 15th Amendment imo, a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting Supreme Court justices having condemned interpolations and additions regarding interpretations of the Constitution.
"The Constitution was written to be understood by the voters; its words and phrases were used in their normal and ordinary, as distinguished from technical, meaning; where the intention is clear, there is no room for construction and no excuse for interpolation or addition [emphasis added].” —United States v. Sprague, 1931.
The language protection aspect of the Voting Rights Act is unconstitutional since it steals 10th Amendment-protected state powers imo.
The remedy for Democrats and RINOs trying to steal the Oval Office in 2020 elections. …
Patriots in the whole nation need to come to the rescue of Florida patriots by electing a new patriot Congress in the 2020 elections that will not only promise to support PDJT's vision for MAGA, but will also promise to surrender state powers that the feds have been stealing from the states, back to the states.
Otherwise, Democrats and RINOs will continue oppress the states and their people from the Oval Office using powers that the federal swamp continues to steal from the states and their people.
And to make this surrendering of state power permanent, patriots also need to support PDJT in leading the states to repeal the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.
