This is the latest in our apparently endless series of stories covering the destruction of competitive women’s sports by the introduction of “transgender women” into the events. This time we’re back to the sport of weightlifting. A transgender powerlifter named Mary Gregory recently “dominated” the field at a Powerlifting Federation competition last month, smashing four world records for that weight class in the process. This had the actual women competing in the event understandably upset and protests were lodged. But after an investigation was conducted, the federation chairman posted an announcement saying that the record lifts were being taken off the books. (Pink News)
100% Raw Powerlifting Federation president Paul Bossi said the group has stripped Gregory of her wins because he believes she is male.
“It was revealed that this female lifter was actually a male in the process of becoming a Transgender female,” Bossi said in the statement.
“Our rules, and the basis of separating genders for competition, are based on physiological classification rather than identification.
“On the basis of all information presented to the Board of Directors for this particular case, the conclusion made, is that the correct physiological classification is male.”
The federation is clearly trying to tiptoe their way around the subject here to avoid backlash from the social justice warriors and their allies in the media. They’re taking great pains to insist that Gregory is a woman if he wishes to identify that way, but the federation’s rules are not based on gender identity, but rather biological sex. And even though Gregory was taking estrogen and testosterone blockers for eleven months, that didn’t make him biologically female. (You only need to look at the pictures in the linked article to see that those hormone treatments didn’t have much of an effect.)

Yes, but they took a somewhat wishy washy stance. They should have been more forthright as in “Men pretending to be women cannot compete.” Instead, the article says “The federation is clearly trying to tiptoe their way around the subject here to avoid backlash from the social justice warriors and their allies in the media.”
I have a friend who is into bike racing. The problem with bike races at the local level is that there’s always pro cyclists that show up, absolutely destroy everybody, and walk away with all the purse money/prizes. It’s gotten to be such a problem many local races now require you to show a driver’s license with a local address and a utility bill showing a local address to keep out these ringers. I bring this up because that’s essentially what these trannies are doing to high school girls’ and women’s sports. Whether it’s the theft of sports scholarships, prize money, or some sort of bragging rights, these trannies are totally ruining these sports and need to go start up their own leagues instead of screwing up everybody else’s.
It’s pretty ironic that that this is being done to women’s sports since they’re so overwhelmingly liberal and, knowingly or not, propagated this crap to the problem that it is today. When they were all for getting the cute little gay guy promoted out of the mailroom at work, they didn’t realize they were creating a monster. Now the gays are everywhere, vocal, and getting way too big of a piece of the action in an arena where women have always had the monopoly in workplace pain & suffering and, therefore, getting all the special payraises and promotions just for showing up. I hope these women are real proud of themselves. They’re the cause of this problem.
