SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT Mueller will not testify before the House Judiciary Committee next week, panel Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler said Friday.
Nadler, a Democrat from New York, told reporters the committee is still in talks with the Justice Department over Mueller's appearance, but he expects Mueller to testify eventually.
[ READ: President Donald Trump Asserts Executive Privilege Over Mueller Report ] "He will come at some point. If it's necessary, we will subpoena him," Nadler said, according to The Hill. The committee was hoping that Mueller would testify on May 15.
The panel has been sparring with the Justice Department and White House over information and witnesses pertaining to Mueller's report on Russian interference in the 2016 election.
The panel voted Wednesday to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena to hand over an unredacted version of Mueller's report. Before the vote, the White House announced it was asserting executive privilege over the document.

It wasn’t an “investigation”. It was set up and a coup by people who are not going to stop. They think they ARE the State, and no one they don’t like will get into the gang.
I figured. He’d be asked by Republicans when did he know there was no collusion which would’ve been way before the 2018 elections.
And we know the derps strategy now. If we can’t remove Trump we win the 2018 elections. Fortunately the Senate held. Q team had it covered.

Mueller is planning on taking a long vacation followed by a quiet retirement. He no longer wants any part of this and with Rosenstein gone there is no longer any potential protections with the exception of Barr’s friendship.
WONDER if they will rule Mueller in contempt and threaten him with jail and fines.
So, is Chairman Nadler going to put out a subpoena demanding the appearance of Mueller, and charge him with contempt for failure to comply?
Just asking.
Unfortunately, Congress has shielded itself from being prosecuted for breaking the law when "on official business" -- so you won't see Nadler or cronies being perp-walked out of the hearing room
This will blow up on the democrats.....

They talked and he said I can’t say what you want me to say because I will be under oath.

until the Supreme court rules on the privilege.
Nader should be nailed to the wall over this.
Dear President Trump:
I know that you know better than me, but I would really enjoy Herr Mueller testifying before the House Judiciary Committee.
I have only two questions for Special Council Mueller. I’m sure you know the two questions Mr. President.
So, please do not claim Executive privelage, and tell A.G. Barr to let him testify.
Hopefully a Republican will ask those two questions.
