Probably related to spiders, in Iraq dusty ear plugs would cause crazy itches deep in the ear that I thought were microscopic arachnids. I would flush them out dumping rubbing alcohol in my ear canal.

I would flush them out dumping rubbing alcohol in my ear canal.The same thing happened to me. Except I wasn't in Iraq and there were no ear plugs. But there were invisible bugs and I made them go away by drinking the alcohol. Some doctor said it was the DTs but there were no pink elephants so I know better.
