Subject: Travel print pool report#2 - Arrival Tyndall

AF1 was wheels down at Tyndall Air Force Base at 4:43 PM local time. It’s warm and humid here.

Flight was uneventful, with the exception of some mild turbulence toward the end. No POTUS appearances and no formal gaggle.

White House spokesman Steven Groves made a brief appearance in the press cabin to give us a list of lawmakers flying with POTUS (all Florida Republicans):
Sen. Marco Rubio
Sen. Rick Scott
Rep. Neal Dunn
Rep. Matt Gaetz
Gaetz also popped his head into the press cabin quickly mid-flight.
Fox News coverage of the House Judiciary Committee’s contempt vote of Attorney General William Barr played on televisions during the flight.
POTUS deplaned at 4:55 PM. Several dozen supporters, some in military garb and carrrying red MAGA hats, cheered and chanted “USA!” as he waved from the top of the stairs.
POTUS shook hands with Florida Gov. DeSantis and others before getting in a black SUV.
