Not all these words are used as weasel words. Example: appear could be used as “appear before a judge”.

Mueller built a lot of verbiage based on these words.
Mueller ends up using them to put words in Pres. Trump's mouth or to divine intent.

Burr's subpeona makes so little sense and his committee has been such a non-player (apart from a staffer sleeping with a NYT national security reporter and sentenced for lying about the relationship during a leak investigation) that I'm honestly confused what he thinks he's doing

Hill sources suggest it's not intel community pulling strings or anything like that, just that he's easily controlled by Democrats on the committee and GOP Senate's anti-Trump leadership -- who aren't ready to give up leverage that Russia hoax gave them.

In any case, Burr apparently thinks he should be thanked for giving Democrats & media cover for their conspiracy theory hoax. May have been better for him to spend recent years performing oversight of agencies rather than running interference for them.

OUR dear president video taped a get well message to my dear friend Libby while she was battling leukemia. On his first visit to Indiana she was in isolation HIs staff made certain I had front row seat in the VIP section so I could take pictures for her. When he visited. Los Vegas later he asked (by name) her SIL how she was doing. Such compassion! And such a memory!
