Barr's refusal to release full Mueller report sparks 'constitutional crisis', say Democrats

House Democrats barreled ahead on Wednesday with a vote to hold US attorney general William Barr in contempt of Congress, citing his failure to hand over the full unredacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. The Democratic-led House judiciary committee voted along party lines to hear contempt proceedings against Barr in a dramatic escalation of the conflict between Democrats on Capitol Hill and Donald Trump’s administration. Representative Jerrold Nadler, the panel’s chairman, said Barr’s refusal to comply with the requests of US lawmakers amounted to a “constitutional crisis”.

Exactly, barr had no business doing that. People seem to forget that barr is a founding member of the deep state, a bushie and a jeb supporter. If Trump has not carried the senate over the finish line himself, the dems would have taken the senate as well as the house. The republicans are an extension of the dem party, time for a new party.

Legally Barr is not required to release the report at all.
