This was BS disqualification and I say this as someone who bet on War of Will (the #1 horse) who was most interfered with. The jockey on the eventual winner was the one that claimed foul, and his horse wasn’t bothered at all. Women who never rode in a real race should not be allowed to be stewards.

Your horse had to pull up when MS cut him off. But they were all running so close together there.... and in the mud.

Even if Maximum Security wasn’t affected at all, after watching the video, the stewards couldn’t just ignore that War of Will was impeded which resulted in another horse , Long Range Toddy being impeded. Maximum Sec. caused a situation that affected several horses and was rightfully disqualified.
You bet on War of Will and aren’t pi$$ed off. I really think he would have drew off and won that race if he wasn’t impeded like that.

Total and complete interference. And MS was placed 17th behind the #18 Long Range Toddy who finished 16th because he totally folded after that egregious interference.
It’s a shame, but it was the RIGHT call.
Please also bear in mind that the jock on MS on the return stated his horse was scared by the crowd, and that MS has minimal experience....just 4 starts. Further, CH was a poor horse who MAY very well have benefitted from the slop, so there is no reason he shouldn’t have placed high while “good” horses couldn’t stand it.

He nearly clipped heels with the out of control Max Security, and who really knows if he woulda won, or finished better than he did. However, I can’t see the stewards granting him the win, esp. over Country House. It was a really bad beat for me, because I loved two longshots, Cutting Humor and Country House, and I chose like an idiot to put the win bet on Cutting Humor.
