It was a scare for passengers on Spirit Airlines flight 630 from LAX to Denver, Colorado. About 40 minutes into the flight, the plane was forced to turn around. Some passengers in the front of the cabin said they felt ill.
On the ground, firefighters opened the baggage compartment door wearing full protective gear with oxygen tanks. They entered the belly of the plane looking for anything unusual.
Only one person was transported to the hospital. In a statement, the company said in part: "The aircraft in question has been taken out of service while our maintenance team inspects it. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Flying Spirit is always an adventure - and a surprise if you actually get to where you’re heading on time.....
Airport Chipoltle strikes again.
I fly Allegiant out of Lax frequently. Theyre the only line that has a straight flight to Bentonville Arkansas or Springfield Missouri. Same thing. They charge for every little thing. A $200 ticket winds up over $300 by the time youre done with all the taxes, fees, and their add ons.
Somebody have the fish?
Rumack : “Extremely serious. It starts with a slight fever and dryness of the throat. When the virus penetrates the red blood cells, the victim becomes dizzy begins to experience an itchy rash, then the poison goes to work on the central nervous system, severe muscle spasms followed by the inevitable grueling. At this point, the entire digestive system collapses accompanied by uncontrollable flatulence (Oever begins to fart ) Until finally, the poor bastard is reduced to a quivering wasted piece of jelly.”
I had the lasagna.
Gotta be some pothead who figured if it was legal in both states, surely it was legal to light one up in between.
Back inthe mid 80s I had gone to Cancun for a few days. While on the Beach I found a Big Conch Shell that had a Clam shell attached to it. I brought it back home as Carry On in My bag in the Overhead Bin. Well about halfway to DFW that Clam DIED AND THAT PUPPY STANK NASTY NASTY NASTY!!! I played stupid for the rest of the flight.
Coming through Customs I had everything ready, they looked in My bag, zipped it back up and told Me to GET OUTTA HERE, FAST.
