Ashes may be human remains, but they are not a corpse.

Why is cremation wrong?Global warming?
The funeral industry has turned into such a racket that cremation is often the only option a family can afford.

I think it’s civilized, efficient and space-saving. It’s also less creepy than thinking that someone’s earthly shell is slowly rotting in the ground.

Not as bad as a woman in PA did. Took husband’s ashes and mixed it in with a meal and fed her children and grand children it. Ugh!

I couldnt wait to leave home when I turned 18. I dont get someone wanting to stay dependent on their parents. One of my wife's friends is trying to get her two sons out of her house. Her oldest son is 48. We can't understand why she permits this, as her sons are abusive. Our daughters left home soon after high school, same as my wife and I. Proper parenting makes the difference.

Ashes may be human remains, but they are not a corpse.Depends on how the statute is written. Probably a matter for the court to decide but I'm sure that the DA believes that it applies before charges were filed.

Too many adults these days never seem to grow up. At 33, this man is extremely immature. It is likely the other way around. The man never grew up because he never moved away from his parents.
I'm amazed how common this is these days. When I was a teen, I was counting the days that I would be old enough to move away and be on my own. In fact, I enlisted in the military in large part to accelerate that much-desired outcome. It was considered shameful in my generation to live with your parents as an adult (unless you were the one taking care of them).
Definitely made you undateable. Women typically did not want to start a relationship with a grown man who was still living with mommy.
