Ben Hsu fell asleep with the pair of wireless headphones still in his ears but woke up unable to find one of them.
Using an iPhone tracking feature he discovered the device was still in his room and heard its beeping sound following him around.
He said: I checked under my blanket and looked around but couldnt find it then I realised the sound was coming from my stomach.
He went to hospital where an x-ray confirmed that the location of the AirPod. He was told that surgery would be plan B, but the hope was that the situation would resolve itself naturally.
It apparently did. Well gloss over the details, but after washing and drying it, it still worked.
The battery was still at 41 percent! It was incredible, he said, calling his experience with the Apple product magical.

I put beans in my ears.
After youve eaten them? Ha ha.
I put Q tips into my ears, against all warnings not to. So, I am an ear criminal.

Grandma or someone else back in the middle of the last century said
“Don’t put anything in your ear smaller than your elbow”.
Double meaning to that...without email, much tv and ALL the kids had to do was go outside and enjoy the fresh air etc, you could keep a kid amused for hours while he was trying to put his elbow in his ear.
The hearing aid survived the wash and also survived the electric dryer.

You were lucky. I’d be afraid to try that with mine.
I didn't ask for a detailed explanation.
I had to retrieve an early Samsung smart phone stuck in a toilet. Got caught and jammed in the trapway at the top.
Pulled the toilet and while attempting to push it out from the other end the phone rang. Partially or fully submerged overnight.
Another sh***y job completed.
41% battery still remaining! All you Apple haters are just going to have to seethe over this one.
Truly remarkable device.
Amazing! I'm sure this has medical applications and the Apple team is working on it.
So how do you skip to the next song if you dont like that one? Press the kidney?
If they were flesh colored, then they would really look like they were talking to themselves. At least since they're white, you know that people are really talking on the phone and that they are not crazy.
Sometimes it’s better not to know.
“This, too, shall pass ...”

You can buy vinyl sheaths for them on Amazon to custom color them to your preferred choice. They even have patterns as well. . . Such as big cat prints, if that floats your boat.
How often do you go swimming with your Samsung phone?
Apple started providing 30 minute/1 meter IP67 water resistant phones in September 2016. They were dust resistant long before that.
A few of Samsungs phones claimed a 30 minute/1.5 meter plus IP68 rating starting in that same year, but testing labs found in testing multiple models of the same phone results of water leakage was iffy at less than 1.5 meters, leading them to conclude they were really just IP67.
I had a great aunt who swallowed her hearing aids (yes, BOTH) several years ago.
They were reddish in color and about the size of a large capsule. She thought they were her meds.
They made it out, but weren’t working, once....er....cleaned. :-O
This too will pass.
They say the average person swallows bugs/spiders every so often during sleep. But googling for the info doesn’t reveal much hard data.
You probably eat a lot more bugs in your food! (Daily.)
