Oh I forgot to add, if we do go the consumption tax route, I would like to see it applied at the wholesale level so that the tax is priced in before it gets to retailers. That way small retail business owners are not hampered with being the governments tax collectors for free. That would allow a much smaller civil tax enforcement agency getting in the way of most American small business owners getting down to business.
If this President can get the things done you mentioned, watch this economy take off like we’ve never seen before. I really am excited for this country and the opportunities that will open up for Family and FRiends if we can get these things accomplished.

I don't disagree with your reasoning for this, but I want the fed tax to print out in bold at the bottom of every retail receipt.

I favor the retail sales tax solely so the sales recipients show EXACTLY how much of my hard earned dollar s are confiscated by my local, state, fed government.
If we simply had a “Truth in Taxation” law showing all taxes incorporated into the cost of goods sold on our retail sales receipt there would be an immediate turnover of almost all elected officials.

Agree with everything you said. I just wish I were a young person at the beginning of my career with the potential of honest and minimal government. I’d love to have spent my life in that kind of freedom! Still, I’m happy for progress on this.
